The Blue Bonefish Fly Shop offers several options for guided fly fishing trips and a variety of fantastic fishing experiences. All of our guides are local and have a vast knowledge of the ocean and the fish that frequent the area. The primary sport fish include Bonefish, Tarpon and Permit; however, Jacks, Snook and Barracuda are also highly sought after when seeking a fun but challenging fishing adventure on the island. With literally hundreds of miles of flats, shorelines and reefs each of our experienced guides have their own little tips and tricks. Many of our guides are second and third generation fishermen. These guys live to fish and it shows. Be sure to stop by the shop and check out the fly fishing gear before you hit the water – we will make sure you have what you need.

Flats Fishing

Spend the day with an experienced flats guide, searching and hunting for the ghosts of the flats.  Bonefish, Permit, and Tarpon swim our waters and our guides have years of experience finding these fish. Using light tackle, such as fly rods, and spinning gear, you will sight fish in shallow water, testing your casting accuracy, and skills. We provide all equipment, and gear for the guests, as well as refreshments (water/soda) on both full day and half day trips.

Reef Fishing & BBQ

Head out on a 23-26’ boat fishing the reef with conventional gear. Using live bait, we target, snapper, cudas, jacks, grouper, and a variety of reef fish that make excellent table fare. We provide all equipment, and gear for guests as well as refreshments (water/soda) on both half day and full day tour. For $50 extra turn your full day into a beach bbq, we will catch, and provide all the raw materials that we need and spend the afternoon on the beach preparing your catch for you and your guests.

Deep Sea Fishing

Jump on a larger 29’-39’ offshore boat targeting wahoo, tuna, mahi, and other pelagic species that swim outside the reef. We provide all equipment and gear as well as refreshments (water/soda) on both the full day a half day tour. On a full day tour bring your own lunches as we will be out in the deep Blue waters and wont be close any restaurants or beaches.

Spear Fishing

Snorkel, and dive alongside our experienced captains on the reef, hunting for delicious fish to bring back for dinner. We provide all equipment, and gear as well as refreshments (water/soda) on both the full day and half day tour. On a full day tour we provide a private Beach BBQ for guests at lunchtime.

Night Fishing

Some species tend to do most of their feeding at night, and the night time bite can be great for larger snapper, cudas, even tarpon. We provide all the equipment and gear as well as refreshments. Hours are between 4pm – 8 pm a four hour guided tour.

Rates Include: Beverages, and equipment including rod and reels and flies.

Rates do not Include: Tips, liquor, fishing license, lunch, sales tax. Minimum tip of $50-100 US per day is recommended for the guides.

Reservations and Deposits: A 50% deposit per person is required to hold your reservation.  Final payment for your trip is due 14 days prior to your arrival. 

All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Weather Cancelation Policy: It will be the Captains decision to cancel a trip due to weather conditions. Your trip will be rescheduled to a later date during your stay if possible. 

No refunds will be made for any unused portion of a trip, including late arrival or early departure.  Guide fees, or other associated costs are not refundable if unused.  The Blue Bonefish Fly Shop reserves the right to modify an itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control.  In the unlikely event that The Blue Bonefish Fly Shop must cancel a reservation, all payments received will be credited to a future date within 12 months of the original date based on availability, which constitutes a full settlement.

The Blue Bonefish Fly Shop is not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trip, including airfare.

Upon sending your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
